Arriving on Swiss National Day, the festive atmosphere enlivened the gardens, creating an inviting backdrop for the evening's celebrations. Although the restaurant was closed, the local party food of rösti and sausage was a delightful surprise, enjoyed amidst fireworks and the picturesque setting of the Jura Mountains. The mansion, with its historical decor and tranquil floral grounds, presented ample outdoor seating perfect for unwinding. While the rooms offered substantial space, improvements could be made in the linen quality and overall heating efficiency. The firm bed might not cater to all tastes, particularly for those preferring softer pillows. Dining on-site is advisable, with a concise yet excellent menu, including a flavorful tuna steak and noteworthy wine selection. The complimentary Wi-Fi was reliable, enhancing the overall experience.
